Previous: FMLA Labor Law Posters Have you ever wondered how syndicating your content to other sites (or distributing it to articles sites) might affect your search engine rankings? If so, take a few minutes to watch Lee Odden's video interview with Adam Lasnik from Google. The duplicate content discussion is towards the middle of the video. The beginning covers an other topic that concerns a lot of websites and webdesigners - Flash and what Google is looking for. Posted by: work online on March 1, 2008 at 7:54 PM I think that any Web-Master who watches this video would find interest in it. I like how Adam clearly spells things out, especially when it came to duplicate content. Making sure your press releases or content are linked back to your Site is paramount, but I question as to why anyone would not? Posted by: Homejobsite on March 3, 2008 at 10:32 AM The interview with Adam is great! It clear a lot of issues especially in the SEO business and webmasters. They are some webmasters duplicating their content from other site and just wander afterwards why their site was penalized my Google. Posted by: HexCorp on March 7, 2008 at 5:57 PM Great interview. Duplicate content is a hot issue today and this was exactly what i needed right now. Keep up the good work Daniel Lundqvist Posted by: Daniel Lundqvist on March 11, 2008 at 4:04 PM This video is very interesting and entertaining. It helps not only to webmasters but also to beginners in web developing. The insights are great like “PageRank Sculpting”, “Flash NoScript”, “Anti Sculpting”, and “Duplicate Content”. Posted by: Eric on March 20, 2008 at 5:39 PM Nice video. I hired a copywriter for my business to write completely unique product descriptions for all of my products. Although that was quite an investment, it paid off in the long run and the search engines responded favorably to my online store from http://webstore.amazon.com .
