Which are the best small businesses to work for in the US?
WinningWorkplaces.org and the Wall Street Journal are collaborating to identify outstanding small organizations in North America for their third annual ranking of Top Small Workplaces.
In making their selection, they'll be looking for employers who foster teamwork, flexibility, high productivyt and innovation and also help their employees grow personally and professionally.
To be considered, small employers must be independent (ie, not part of a bigger corporation), have 500 or fewer employees, have $200 million or less in annual sales, and have been in business for at least 5 years.
Nominations will be accepted through January 30, 2009. You can find more information and a link to nominate companies on WinningWorkplaces.org . There's also a s also a link to the nomination form on their blog.

This is a great opportunity for businesses. It allows small companies to gain some exposure and be in the spotlight for a while, hopefully attracting more attention and customers.
