About that new NLRB Poster
Posted by Janet Attard
As you may have heard, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) issued a new ruling requiring almost all private sector businesses (Ie, most businesses that are not government agencies and are not federal contractors) to display a new NLRA Employee Rights poster in the workplace informing employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act.
The posting requirement, which was supposed to go into effect on November 14, 2011, has now been postponed to January 31, 2012.
Among the reasons cited by the NLRB for the posting deadline change was to allow more time to educate small and medium-sized businesses about the rule.
