Interest Free Loans from the Government
Posted by Janet Attard
Do you have an existing, viable small business that's suffering financial hardships as a result of the recession? If you are based in the US and can show evidence of profitability or positive cash flow in one of the last two years, you could be eligible for an interest-free, no-fee loan of up to $35,000 through the America's Recovery Loan (ARC) program. The program goes into effect on June 15, 2009 and runs "as long as funding is available or until September 30, 2010, whichever comes first."

If women are the market for your product or service, then ignoring social media tools would be as senseless as sending your favorite cookie recipe to Hillary Clinton. That's because of the 79 million U.S. women online, 42 million women are actively engaging in some form of social media...

Are you planning to open a new store in town? Or, perhaps you're planning to rent space and open a daycare center or a new restaurant, or a bookstore with a little café in the back? B2B - Skip the Social Media Marketing
Posted by Guest
If you’re running a B2B enterprise, scratching your head and wondering how you’re supposed to take advantage of social media tools such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter – you’re not alone. Aside from the fact that online social media is irrationally hyped (60 percent of Twitter users abandon the service after the first month) it’s an especially bad marketing fit for B2B. Here's why.

Credit Card Changes? Watch Out For These Pitfalls!
Posted by Janet Attard
Is your credit card expiring? Did your credit card company just close down all business accounts (like Advanta Small Business did recently)? If you have good credit, you're likely to be blasé about any change in your credit cards. The credit card company will renew your card, or if they've closed all accounts you'll just get another card. So, other than an annoyance, it's no big deal, right?
