Whether you need to buy wood, food, or pencils, the price you pay for goods is usually significantly lower when you buy a large quantity at one time. Unfortunately, however, small businesses and consumers often can't use or can't afford to buy items in large quantities.
If you have the cash to buy in quantity and know of a ready market, that's a plus for you. You can profit by purchasing in bulk and repackaging the items for small quantity retail sales. Your price for the small quantity lots should factor in not only the original bulk purchase price, but also the time and costs you'll incur to repackage the goods, market them, and fulfill orders.
