Hi everyone. Just joined and wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Deirdre J. and I am an online webpreneur from the Hudson Valley of NY. I have been doing Internet Business and Marketing for about 18 months now and love it!

Hey Dierdre, welcome to the Business Know How forum!
It's a great site, and its best strength is the variety of members, ranging from totally offline entrepreneurs (for example I'm a rental investor and sometimes flip properties after renovating and signing a rental agreement), all the way to 100% online e-commerce startup owners. I've spoken with people in the fashion industry, the real estate industry, the legal industry, and everything in between, and I'm consistently surprised and impressed by the value of the exchanges.
Anyway glad to have you aboard, and I look forward to exchanging ideas with you!

Glad to here you're coming our way, artyst! I'll be interested to hear your impression of the area.

And winter is what you make of it, like anything. In my experience, it definitely helps if you can find some sort of preoccupation in the winter so that you don't get too down on account of the weather. As a student here in Rochester, NY, I definitely find that the overcast and blustery winter months make for perfect studying conditions. I think if I went to school in a warmer climate I would have a lot of trouble getting things done!
