Articles Submission Form and Guidelines Thank you for your interest in submitting an article for use in Business Know-How. If this is the first time you are submitting content to Business Know-How, click here to read our guidelines and learn where your articles may appear in addition to the Business Know-How web site. Please note: We only accept submissions from the original author of the articles or a publicist hired by the copyright owner to submit material here. We do not accept articles that are purely promotional, or that are placed by SEO companies for link-building purposes. By submitting material, you acknowledge that you are legally entitled to distribute the work and to allow it to be redistributed. (If you are a book publisher or public relations firm with copy to distribute, please include a note to that effect at the top of the article you submit.) We do not pay for articles, and do not accept articles that are primarily advertisements. We do not allow links within the text of the article unless they are to government websites or other well established authority sites. However, you may place a brief resource box that includes a link to the author's webiste and other contact information (but no ads) at the end of your article. To send your article, answer the questions below and then copy and paste your submission into the space provided. Please be sure your by-line appears below the title of the article. Guidelines We are interested in seeing well-written features, how-to articles, book excerpts, "how I did it" stories, tips and hints, instructions, motivational articles and other articles that will help our audience gain knowledge that will help them succeed in their business or career. Among the broad subject areas we cover are home office, small business, advertising, sales & marketing, human resources, legal and accounting issues, management, productivity, retailing, mail order, direct selling, multilevel marketing, gift baskets, medical billing and transcription, writing, editing and publishing, and using computer technology in small and home businesses.
