Sample Easter Letter 2
by Cathy Alphonse
Copyright 1998

<Date>

Dear <First Name>,

Hi! Happy Easter! Are you getting ready to celebrate Easter at <Address>? You can't imagine how busy we are in the village! We are trying to get the hens to lay more eggs, but they are not too happy about that! We have to be very nice and ask them politely to PLEASE lay more eggs, so we'll have enough for all the good children.

Spring is here! Do you like Spring? I know I do!! The animals start having babies and the flowers and trees start growing again. Everything looks so beautiful and new this time of year.

I hope you like going to <School Name> School. I hear that is a fun place to learn. How is <Teacher's Name>? Tell <Him/Her> I said "Hello, and Happy Easter!" Teachers are so special, aren't they? Don't forget to do all your homework!

Let's see, I have you marked down for a <Toy>. I'll see what I can do about that! I am sure that I will bring a special gift for you along with a basket full of goodies. Your <Sender> wanted me to remind you to <Reminder>. You have to be good for <Sender>, or I have to hop right past your house!

Make sure on Easter Eve to put grass in your basket and have it ready for me! Oh, and tell that turtle he cannot beat me in a race, NO WAY!!

Well, I have to go now! The Jelly Bean machine just broke and I have to go fix it!! Tell your friends, <Friends Names>, that I'll be hopping over to their house too!

Love,

<Peter Cottontail signed in a script or handwriting font>

P.S. Please don't forget to leave me some lettuce or a carrot!!
