Sample Easter Letter 4
by Stephanie McElheran
Copyright 1998

<Date>

Dear <First Name>,

Hi! Happy Easter! Can you believe that it has been a whole year since I last delivered Easter eggs to your house? I see you had another birthday on <Birthday>. Now you are <Age> years old!! My, you are such a big <Girl/Boy>! Are you getting ready to celebrate Easter at <Address>? You can't imagine how busy we are here in our village! We are trying to get the eggs decorated and the candy made in time for Easter! Everyone is working overtime!!!

Let's see, I have you marked down for a <Toy>. I will try my best to bring that, along with a basket full of goodies for you and your <Sibling>, <Sibling Name>. Are your friends, <Friends Names> getting ready to celebrate Easter? Please tell <Friends Names> that I wrote to you and that I will be bringing Easter eggs to their house, too! All of my bunny friends have been working very, very hard to color the eggs for all the good children! Your <Sender> wanted me to remind you to <Reminder>. You have to be good for <Sender> or I have to hop right past your house.

Well, I better go for now. The hens are making a lot of noise and I have to see who is bothering them. Be sure to go right to sleep at bedtime the night before Easter, so I can hippity-hop right over to <Address> and deliver my basket full of goodies.

Happy Easter, <First Name>!

Love,

<Peter Cottontail signed in a script or handwriting font>

P.S. Please don't forget to leave me a carrot or some lettuce!
