Sample Easter Letter 5 - New Pet
by Cathy Alphonse
Copyright 1998

<Date>

Dear <Pet Name>,

Hi! Happy Easter! I was so excited when I heard you were born last year! I just love adding <Pet Type> to our list! We are all soooo busy here in our bunny village, getting the eggs decorated for all the good children. We also have special bunnies making yummy dog bones and cat treats for all of our favorite pets. I can't wait to hop over to <Address> with a basket full of dog goodies.

How are <Owners>? Are they getting ready for Easter, too? You must always remember to obey <Owners> and be good for them. If you can do that, I will put a special Easter Bunny blessing in your water dish for you!

Let's see, <Sender> told me that you would like a <Gift> from the Easter Bunny. I will do my best to bring that along with a basket full of good things to eat for <Owners>. Try not to eat too many chocolate milk bones before dinner!

Well, I have to go now and get back to my Easter chores. Things are really getting hectic around here! <Pet Name>, be good and please remember to never chase after any bunnies!!! Hoppy Easter!

Hugs and Kisses,

<Peter Cottontail signed in a script or handwriting font>

P.S. Please ask <Owners> to leave a carrot or maybe some lettuce for me-I get awfully hungry delivering baskets!
