Sample Birthday Letter
by Cathy Alphonse

<Date>

Dear <First Name>,

Birthday Greetings! What a happy occasion! You are going to be <age> years old on <birthdate>! My you are getting so big!

<Sender> wanted me to send you this letter to remind you what a SPECIAL day your birthday is. Since the day you were born <age> years ago, you have made everyone in your life very happy!

I hear you will be having a party <place of party>! Do you think <friend's names> will be there? I sure hope so! Birthdays are much more fun when you can share the excitement with your friends. They probably will have tons of fun too! Do you have a special outfit in <color of favorite outfit> that you will be wearing? You look so beautiful in <color of favorite outfit>!

Maybe you can have a private party with <names of stuffed animals>, too. Wouldn't that be fun? You can put party hats on them and place them at the table and give them cake and milk. I am sure they will be very well behaved for you.

I hope you get everything you want on your birthday, especially the <birthday gift> you have been waiting for. <Sender> wanted me to remind you to <reminder>. I know you can do that if you try!

Birthdays come only once a year, so make sure to enjoy it and have lots of fun! Happy Birthday, <First Name>!

Love,

Birthday Bear

P.S. Don't eat too much cake and ice cream!
