Sample Halloween Letter
by Calph2147@aol.com

Dear <First Name>,

Hi! Happy Halloween! My favorite time of year is finally here! I just love seeing all the boys and girls dressed up in their costumes. (I, of course, don't need a costume.) Goblins, gremlins, witches and warlocks are some of the spookiest! I am sure you will look great in your costume too. Have you picked one out yet? There are so many to choose from, sometimes it's hard, but you can't be <last year's costume> again!

There are so many things to do before Halloween, too. Do you carve out a pumpkin with <Sender>? I carve out lots of pumpkins with my little monsters and we put candles in them and put them on the porch. Don't forget to help make the treat bags for all the little goblins that come to your door. "Trick or treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!"

Do you like the spooky decorations that are everywhere? I LOVE them ~ the scarier the better! We have skeletons and big cobwebs, bats and spiders and SPOOKY music too! Some people just put their decorations up at Halloween, but I like to keep them there all year!

Well, I must go now <First Name> and finish the bat stew. Don't forget <reminder>.

Happy Halloween!

(Sign with whatever monster you choose!)
