Are You Owed Money?

by

There may be money waiting for you.

It might be only pin money, but then again, it could add up to thousands - What is it? It's abandoned property. Money that you or your heir may have put in a bank somewhere and forgotten about, had owed to you from a temporary or full-time job, or even insurance that's owed you.

No, I'm not talking about some new sleazy business opportunity. I'm talking about cold, hard, honest cash. Money that belongs to you that you've forgotten about. One way to find it: visit National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators home page at http://www.unclaimed.org

Many states let you search by name. A search for family members turned up four bank accounts they had forgotten they owned.

Check them out. There's no charge to search and you may be surprised at what you uncover.
