He calls and says:
"Rats! I have to work late again tonight. Don't wait supper
for me. I'll be pretty late, so I'll grab a sandwich."
Or, she looks up from loading the dishwasher and says:
"You know that new client
we're trying to get? The boss wants me to go with him to Massachusetts next week to demo
our new line. You'll have to pick up the kids from the daycare center Wednesday night and
drop them off there Thursday morning"
Working late and traveling for business are commonplace for many workers these days. The
average worker works 3.5 hours more than they did 20 years ago. Women, who make up 46% of
the workforce, are traveling more for work just like their male counterparts.
But still, when your Significant Other (SO) tells you that
they'll be late or have to go out of town on business, well, do you wonder, even just a
little bit what the real story is?
And, if you don't wonder, well. . . . should you? Are you really sure your SO is faithful?
And that they've always been?
Or, for that matter, have you ever cheated, or
would you?
